This is the first correspondence you are receiving from this year’s Captain.
I have not previously contacted you all - but we are in the quieter part of the season and apart from a few Monthly Medals and Competitions I didn’t feel that it was unduly necessary to bother you all as we all live busy lives.
The Main reason I am contacting you all now is to inform you that we will be holding our Annual Dinner and Presentation Evening at The Royal St Georges Club House on Saturday 30th March 2019 – 6.30 for a 7.30 sit down – if you wish to attend could you please let me know as soon as possible – obviously we have limited numbers so your prompt response should alleviate disappointment.
I have a few other events in their initial stage during my year of office and will keep you informed should any of them prove of interest .
I am currently (in conjunction with my colleagues Simon King and Barry Mills) in the process of arranging new Club Polo Shirts. We have all of your sizes from the last time we provided the shirts so please let me know if your size is ok (or you think that they don’t make them as big as they used to !!!!!)
I will try my hardest to serve you all to the best of my ability and to make my period as Captain progress as smoothly as possible – however should you wish to raise any points please do not hesitate to contact me – apart from E-Mail and What’s App you can also ring or text on 07740 483403.
Wishing you all a successful season (apart from those who I have drawn in the Club Competitions !!!)
Welcome to Gary Simmonds, new club captain, assisted by vice captain Barry Mills
Founded in 1928. The club has provided a fantastic opportunity for local people to have the chance to play one of the worlds great golf courses. There is a strict criteria to join, and the clubs main aim is to support the parent club with divotting at least 6 times a year and ball spotting.
